# Working with data on relationships

[This post](https://github.com/json-api/json-api/issues/1361#issuecomment-457077037) offers some context on why I (one editor) think JSON:API hasn’t and probably shouldn’t support data on relationships. That said, the original poster’s point about needing to create/edit multiple resources at once is well take, and enabling that is a big next priority for JSON:API.
