First time I read the spec, I didn’t quite understand what the “related” link really meant, it felt more like randomly related resources. Then I realized it’s the target of the relationship, the other side of the relationship from the object it appears in.
Even if it’s too late to rename it or not appropriate to rename it, perhaps this post will help others understand what “related” means: it’s the target!
