It’s come to my attention that Drupal is considering using JSON-API in core.
Figured I’d mention it here for anyone interested!

@steveklabnik thanks for giving this visibility. I’m trying to move this initiative forward. It would help a lot if people from outside (and inside) of the Drupal community left a comment expressing the desire for this to get into core.
Things like «it would really increase the chances that I choose Drupal as my backend if it shipped with JSON-API in core» (or any other thoughts) can make a difference in this.
