When's 1.1 new targeted release date?

It’s mentioned on the website that 1.1’s targeted release date is September 30th, 2015. When can we expect the new version now?

I don’t suppose there’s been any update on this?

I’m in a company where our API devs developed a number of services based on a pre-1.0 beta spec (i.e. the Ember RESTAdapter format) - they felt burnt when the spec changed drastically in the final version of v1.0 and have not been motivated to move in that direction. The API team’s response for a while has been that they wanted to ensure v1.1 was firm before trying to change the format (even if the project’s stated intention is that all future versions will be backwards-compatible).

1.1 is feature complete with the merging of profiles and the goal is to release it by Jan 2019
